Australia Enjoyed Surge of 41,000 New Jobs in July 2019

July 2019 was an incredible month for the Australian labor market as it added close to three times the predicted number of jobs. The unemployment rate stayed at 5.2 percent as the workforce ballooned to a new record. There were over 41,000 positions added in July, and of those 34,500 were full-time jobs. This would, in most cases, push down the unemployment rate, but the rise in the participation rate made a difference. There are many job opportunities which match your skillset. Submit your resume to Jobs Across the World and find the perfect position for you.

The proportion of those actively looking for a job or in work currently increased to a record 66.1 percent, which wasn’t expected to change. Sarah Hunter of BIS Oxford Economics in Sydney said, “The rebound in employment growth likely reflects the rebound in hiring intentions after the federal election, which temporarily disrupted firms’ hiring plans.” Jobs Across the World has a team of experts who will match your qualifications with the perfect job opportunity. All international resumes are welcome.
